2023 Silver Orchard Viognier

Viognier is the great grape of Condrieu in the Northern Rhone region of France. It is small-clustered, aromatic, and produces a rich white wine. Our goal was to maximize the aromatic potential without adding noticeable oak flavor, so we used old French oak barrels that were effectively neutral. Our inaugural Silver Orchard shows the characteristic floral and honeysuckle notes typical of Viognier but is restrained on the palate and has enough acidity to have some backbone and structure. This wine makes a wonderful aperitif owing to its floral aromatics and full body.

Continuing the look and feel of our Postcards from the Ranch series, this packaging is inspired by the elegance of our sunlit orchards and their silvery leaves.
