2020 Long Barn Cabernet Sauvignon

2020 was a hot year, and the aromatic of the Long Barn Cabernet reflects this beautifully. While there are classic Cabernet Sauvignon flavors, with notes of cassis, bay leaf, graphite, and cigar box, there is also a plentiful ripe berry fruit. The tannins are incredibly soft and ripe. It spreads out on the palate; it is generous, and you can tell it is the product of a warm, well-drained site. The 2020 Long Barn Cabernet Sauvignon is a crowd-pleaser with a sunny personality as sunny as the 2020 vintage. It is not intended to be a wine for extended aging, although it will continue to improve for several years to come. Serve it at cellar temperature (55 degrees) with any dish that calls for a hearty red wine.

Continuing the look and feel of our Postcards from the Ranch series, this packaging is inspired by a special spot at McEvoy Ranch, the historic Long Barn, a scenic and rustic point overlooking our California olive orchards—the perfect place to enjoy this or any of our McEvoy Ranch wines.
