Our trick to making incredibly moist banana bread is Extra Virgin Olive Oil, but the real secret ingredient is our Chai Spice Olive Oil drizzled on top of the bread straight out of the oven. This adds layers of cinnamon, all-spice, and touch of black pepper for a decadent treat.
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Use about 2 tablespoons of the olive oil to generously grease the bottom and sides of a loaf pan.
In a large bowl, mix the remaining olive oil with the brown sugar.
Add the eggs and mix for about 1 minute.
Add the mashed bananas and mix together.
Stir in the baking soda, kosher salt, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
Stir in the whole wheat flour and the all-purpose flour until just incorporated and no dry spots remain.
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
Let cool then drizzle with Chia Spice Olive Oil for an added depth of flavor.
